CHARTERS FOR HIRE
"The Hostagetaker" 21-foot Chris Craft. "MICRO-CHARTER" Venture into the Atlantic ocean and seek out dolphin, sailfish, kingfish, wahoo, and the variety of reef fishes that inhabit the coastlines of Florida. Welcome to our concept of affordable sport fishing! Our available vessels are a 21-foot Chris Craft or 23-ft Wellcraft which can be chartered for any amount of time requested. They comfortably accommodate 1 - 3 for fishing. This charter is "hands-on". The angler will have to perform many of the duties of a mate such as holding our course, setting out lines, and releasing or gaffing fish, etc. (Simple stuff that requires minimal knowledge or work.) Experience is NOT required, as Capt. Chris will share in the effort and help you learn everything you need to know to have a good outing. Of course, anglers are always welcome to bring their own gear and equipment. The cost of this charter is easily affordable, and our vessels will be available 24-hrs. a day if there is adequate scheduling and a favorable climate. Trolling or drifting---it's up to you. Captain Chris Gardner will make available his recommendations for seasonal fish to target, but it is not gospel and the choice belongs to the angler. It might be a "micro-charter", but it won't be micro-fishing!! Being smaller vessels, any offshore plans will be dependent upon the weather. Want to learn more? Contact us now!! **Due to the dramatic increase in fuel costs I have been forced to increase my costs. I truly regret having to do this, but in order to stay in business I am left with no alternative. In the future, should fuel costs decrease, I will again reduce the price. Before deciding, make sure you see what I offer for the price please.
$325.00
For the above price you will get a full tank of fuel (50 gal.), fishing gear with all necessary tackle, frozen trolling or drifting bait, snack type foods, bottled water, and soft drinks. DETAILS I will take you out into the Atlantic ocean, where we will fish until we either must return because of fuel restraints, we have caught our limit, or you decide that you have had enough. If you want to cruise the intracoastal waterway we can do that also IF we have the fuel to do so. The fuel is yours to use how you want. This charter is not constrained by time limits so that means if we can spare the fuel we will stay out as long as you want. Generally speaking, we can probably stay out for 5 hours of trolling and a lot longer for drift fishing. This is the only way I know to give you your money's worth in this economically challenging time---- besides I love to be on the water. Call or contact for details
The fishing trips do not include live bait. There are three options here: 1- We can purchase live bait from one of the local live bait boats ( Angler is responsible for the cost of purchasing live bait and please be prepared to pay cash), 2-we can leave early enough to try and get our own, that means we will have to be aboard the boat around 4:30 a.m., or 3- We can just use dead bait which is still very effective and it's provided in the cost of the charter anyway. If you choose to pursue your own live bait, the possibility of failure does exist, and Hostage Lures cannot be held responsible for this event. The cost of live bait bounces between $60-$100 per dozen, and is subject to dramatic change based on recent weather, local fishing tournaments, and demand. Hostage Lures makes no money, kick-back or profit from ANY live bait purchase. |
