I am often asked why my charters are so inexpensive. First of all, the boat you are chartering is smaller. She has a little age on her, but she is sea-worthy. She isn't the prettiest boat that ever floated, but she's reliable, and she will get us to the fish. Second, the boat is paid for, in other words, I don't have an expensive boat payment to make. Third, and I think most important of all, I LOVE TO FISH!! My goal is to target the people who want to fish, more than they want to watch tv on one of the more expensive larger boats. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to own a 40-ft. Hatteras, but then I would have to charge my clients an arm and a leg just to afford to keep her in the water. I want you to catch fish because that's what makes my life worth living. I had a dream as a child to get paid to fish, well, I'm living my dream. Don't misunderstand, it's not a great profitable venture for me, but it makes me happy, and I'll take happiness over profit any day.

Captain Chris Gardner has been a die-hard fisherman his whole life. He grew up in NC fishing both the inshore lakes, ponds, and rivers, and, of course, the Atlantic Ocean. When he became old enough to drive, the Outer Banks, Wrightsville Beach, and Morehead City became his playground for fishing.

Capt. Gardner moved to FL in 1995, and ever since then he has done nothing but fish the Atlantic. His favorite fish to pursue is the Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi), but you'll often find him chasing down a sailfish, or a king mackerel. He decided that manufacturing his own lures was the most cost effective way of catching them. After much success fishing his own lures, he started to sell them to friends, and before he knew it he had his own lure company. His lure business has expanded into many different services including boat repair and charter services.

Now, Capt. Chris is offering his services. He currently holds a U.S. Coast Guard license, which allows him to take people fishing or cruising up to 200 miles offshore. He is currently offering "micro-charters" on his smallest vessel, a 21-ft. Chris Craft. For fishing purposes, this is an ideal charter for two persons, sometimes three depending on weather.
