Many people ask me, "what exactly is a micro-charter?" Well, simply put, it is a charter fishing trip that is offered to people who do not want or need to hire one of the larger boats (35 ft. and above) to take them fishing. I can carry up to 3 passengers/anglers. My boats are smaller, but just as effective at catching fish as the larger sport fishing boats. While I am sometimes limited by weather, I am just as effective at fishing as the big guys. After all, we're fishing the same water. I do not charge you money for a glorified boat ride. I take people fishing. That is all. There is no air-conditioning, no television with satellite cablevision, very little comfort, and minimal space. Since there is no mate on board, from time to time, I will ask you to help me with some basic fishing needs or boat needs while we are on the water, but it is only in the interest of catching fish. I do not expect my passengers to be mechanics, plumbers, or commercial fishermen. I expect them to relax, enjoy the scenery, and hopefully land the fish of their dreams. I only ask that my customers ask me any questions they may have, have faith that the possibility of catching a big fish is just as likely on my boat as it is on the big expensive charters, and that they try to set aside extra time in case they want to stay out longer.
